The Custom Wesco Boss is an all-American boot designed for superb fit, comfort, and durability. Popular among motorcyclists, the Custom Wesco Boss is comfortable and stylish enough for all day wear, without looking too flashy. With this custom-made version, the fit is unbeatable and one-of-a-kind. A sturdy, leather boot, it protects riders in the event of an accident, and will hold up to the grit of the road. The upper is tall enough to give riders enough ankle support and prevent slide-related ankle injuries, one of the most common injuries in motorcycle accidents.
The Custom Wesco Boss used to be known as the Engineer Boot and was a favorite among welders after it was introduced in 1939. They wanted a boot that could be quickly kicked or pulled off in case sparks got trapped inside the boot. Whether youâ're looking for a work boot, commuter boot, or something for recreation, the Custom Wesco Boss is the ultimate work hard, play hard boot.
Wesco boots are made right here in Oregon and are crafted by hand in their Scappoose workshop. The company is still in the hands of the Shoemaker family, who have been in the boot-making business for 96 years. The boot-making process requires multiple craftspeople and involves 155 steps. Known for nearly a century as “The Shoe that Stands the Gaff,” Wesco boots are made with only the highest-quality, full-grained leather. The companyâ's commitment to a long-lasting, comfortable shoe endures to this day and is 100% American made. Plus, the Custom Wesco Boss is completely rebuildable, guaranteeing that your investment will last you for many years in the future.
The Custom Wesco Boss is loaded with customizable features including upper height, width, steel, composite, or regular toe, the option for knife or credit card pockets, and more. It comes with a permanently formed Stytherm™ counter, rolled-leather top facing, PORON performance, shock-absorbing removable inserts with 20 lb. density and black Cambrelle lining, leather heel base, non-corrosive, ribbed, slightly arched steel shank, full-leather vamp lined with leather, hard toe, sweat-resistant full-leather insole, and full-leather midsole.
