Baker's is happy to announce we have hired contractor "Call Of The Wild", of Eugene Oregon, to market, maintain and improve the BakerShoe.Com web site. Owner Anita Cross has been building and maintaining web sites since 1995, and prefers a common sense approach to site design and marketing: "There is a tendancy, within the industry, to add the latest technologies to every web site without regard to the target audience or user experience. That's a good way to turn away traffic, and lose potential customers." As our new webmaster, Anita will be responsible for the many changes you'll see in our site's functionality in the coming months.
The name "Call Of The Wild" may seem familiar, if you've been keeping up with the changes here at BakerShoe. Besides being a top-notch web technician, Anita is also a pretty darn good photographer. You've seen examples of her work on several of our site pages, including the home page.
