Lowa boots are really comfortable for hiking right out of the box. The Renegade has a soft and light sole. They grip well on dirt or concrete. For all purpose use they are really great boots. And Lowa has the Ranger an uninsulated but Gore tex lined hiking boot that has a slightly stiffer sole than the Renegade. The Ranger boots have been popular in our store because you can insulate with your socks with wool or use cotton socks in the summer. This makes the Ranger an all season boot to be worn in summer or winter. The platform is the same as the Lowa Hunter. If you need insulation the huter is for you with insulated Duratherm. We’ve been working to create a new and better Drew’s Boots site for many months now. The new site has a western flair and touch to it and the early showings look really good. Denver stock show-

The Denver stock show is wrapping up this week. And with the snow coming down its a good thing. Trevor found some difficult driving just back and forth from the show. Plus its going to be a difficult drive back because Eugene is swamped with rain and snow in the mountains. Glad we bought studded tires. Pinky is holding his own in Denver and sold quite a few boots.

We look forward to the local showe here in Eugene so we dont have to travel. See us at the Eugene Sportsmans show Feb. 3-5th and the Oregon Loggin show Feb. 23- 25th. Gene at Baker’s Boots.

Trevor set up for the Denver stock show this week and he said its been really busy there. Tony’s heading out Weds. from Portland to fly directly into Denver for the show. Otherwise known as Pinky the bull fighter Tony was invited to help out at the rodeo in Denver. The stock show has all sorts of happenings including the rodeo, the buying and selling of livestock plus a great show to pick up some of your favorite Drew’s custom western boots. NFR rodeo in Vegas-

Trevor & Cowboys show support for breast cancer awareness.

The NFR or National Finals Rodeo is a really cool event. I had never seen the show before but in combination with the rodeo you owe it to yourself to see it. Also known as Cowboy Christmas you will find all the boots and gear to meet your western lifestyle needs. Held at the convention center it encompasses the Mandalay Bay resort and the LV convention center. If you like to get duded up the NFR is for you. Our booth featuring Drew’s Boots was 5 booths and more than 500 pair of boots featured.

Klamath Falls, Oregon based Drew’s boots was sold to Baker’s effective Oct. 1st. Drew’s owners decided to retire and sold the business to Baker’s. Drew’s is long time White’s dealer and has its own line of boots under the Drew’s label. Known for fire boots and western boots plus Pendleton woolen mills products… Drew’s was a natural fit for Baker’s line of boots. And yes the Drew’s website will be remodeled in the next few months. We welcome aboard the Drew’s crew and their move into the Baker family home in Eugene.
